Encounters Welcomes Two New Team Members
Encounters Arts are excited to announce the appointment of two new core team members in roles that will support our organisational resilience and widen our audience.
We are delighted to have Emma Yorke join us as our Fundraising and Development Co-ordinator. Emma has a wealth of experience working in project management and fundraising for many different organisations across the education, health, heritage, charity and arts sectors.
"I am really pleased to be working with the brilliant team at Encounters in a development capacity.
Encounters delivers work which is exciting to be part of and has real impact for those involved, and I am really looking forward to working with a wide range of supporters to keep driving this important work forward. If you would like to work with us to create the conditions for a creative, caring, connected world, please do contact me."
We are also excited to have Emily Reed join us as our new Communications Lead. Emily has a varied background working with both businesses and charities and has a strong interest in ecology, especially bees.
Never more have we needed to harness our communities' creativity in service of imagining and bringing about a better future - I look forward to making sure as many people as possible hear of and engage in Encounters important work."
We are grateful to have received Arts Council funding to support these posts, which will allow us to build our fundraising capacity and share widely the impact of our work. This is an important investment in the future of Encounters, which underlines our long-term commitment to working creatively with communities to bring about the conditions in society for all to flourish, living together within the Earth's ecological limits.
