Innovation Producer - Chrysalis
"Rarely today do we find a place where we can delve deep to find radical new ways of working together and doing things which make the seemingly impossible happen. Encounters offers that space, bringing practitioners, individuals and communities together."
Emma’s work – spanning the arts, social justice or digital worlds - has always been about making the connections between people, ideas and disciplines which help us do things differently to make more of a difference. Her studies reflect her diverse interests and include BA (Hons) Economics, PG Cert Community Dance and MA Digital Management (Distinction) which she gained from Hyper Island in 2017. Today, she focusses on working with arts and not for profit organisations to integrate human centered design processes and methodologies into their projects and initiatives – including new ways of working with participants, audience, communities and users - to increase their relevance and resonance. Emma loves hiking, sea swimming and paddleboarding and she has a keen interest in Economics and the impact of technologies on our lives and societies.
